Inversion Spring Summit 2023

Travel & Accommodations:

Each attendee is in charge of booking their own room. After completing registration, you will be prompted to click a hotel link to book your hotel room. There is limited capacity of hotel rooms, so it is important you secure your hotel room after completing registration.

Please feel free to arrive early and enjoy the hotel, but be sure to be at The Hilton Beachfront Resort by 5pm PST on Sunday, April 23 at the latest, and depart anytime after 12:30pm PST on Wednesday, April 26.

Note: The Inversion Spring Summit Golf Tournament takes place at 8:00am on Sunday, April 23. Please plan to arrive on Saturday, April 22 if you would like to participate in the tournament.

The Hilton Beachfront Resort is 12 miles away from the Santa Barbara Airport and 95 miles away from Los Angeles International Airport.

Each attendee is in charge of booking their own flights.

We suggest you take a taxi, Uber, private car service or rental car.

Upon check-in, you will need your credit card that was used to book the room and personal identification.

Check-in is 4 PM PST and check out is 12 PM PST. Please contact the hotel directly if you’re interested in early check-in or late check-out.

The Hilton Beachfront Resort features a full-service spa and salon, heated pool, fitness center, bike rentals and lawn activities such as croquet, bocce and giant chess. It also features 3 tennis courts, which are home to Dimitar Tennis Academy. Private lessons are available.

Please note: any charges for holding shipped materials will be charged to your room.

Boxes will be held in a secure location in the main building with locks and security cameras. They may be picked up between 8am-5pm on Sunday 4/23.    

Materials should not arrive more than 72 hours prior to the start of the summit or additional storage fees may apply.

The SUMMIT:

In attendance will be:

  1. LPs from endowments, foundations, family offices, OCIO’s, fund of funds, consultants, sovereign wealth funds and pensions.
  2. GPs from public equity, venture capital, private equity, cryptocurrency, real estate, credit and commodities.

The summit will feature traditional networking events, panels of speakers, breakout sessions and 1-on-1 GP/LP meetings, as well as a host of outdoor activities and opportunities to experience the fruits of Santa Barbara.

You will be required to provide your dietary restrictions in the registration process with Cvent. Please email info@inversionsummits.com if you have any further dietary restriction concerns.

Each day will consist of a thoughtfully-designed combination of networking events, expert speakers, 1-on-1 meetings, and a variety of optional fun activities designed to get you moving and make connections.

Each day’s panels, lunches and 1-on-1 meetings are mandatory to attend, as well as Monday night’s Inversion Spring Summit Dinner (as denoted by an asterisk on the summit agenda).

While summit attendees enjoy the Inversion Spring Summit Dinner on Monday night, all spouses and plus one’s are invited to mingle over wine and dinner at their very own event.

Located at a beautiful offsite vineyard, this event is an opportunity to get to know the other Inversion spouses, and experience a taste of Santa Barbara wine country in an intimate setting.  

This event is complementary and open to all spouses and plus one’s who are traveling to Santa Barbara with their partners.

Packing

The summit is business-casual for all onsite events, including meals and cocktail receptions.

A range of outdoor activities are available, such as golf, tennis, pickleball, kayaking, beach yoga and bootcamp workout classes. The resort also features a heated pool and spa.

Typical April weather in Santa Barbara is in the 70’s, with temperatures cooling off in the evening. We recommend packing a sweater or light jacket for early mornings and evenings events.

Costs

  • GP Registration – $15,985 per attendee

  • LP Registration – Complimentary

Please note there is limited GP and LP capacity at this conference.

All onsite events and meals are included in the price of the summit pass, while sports, fitness and outdoor activities are priced a la carte.

Registration fees are refundable up and until December 24, 2022. If an attendee wishes to cancel after December 24, 2022, their registration fee will be transferred towards the next Inversion Summits event.

Hotel rooms are refundable up and until March 9, 2023. If an attendee needs to cancel their hotel room after March 9, 2023, for any reason, they will be charged the full length of their stay.

COVID-19

Following the California Department of Public Health’s recommendations, The Hilton Beachfront Resort is not currently enforcing any specific behaviors regarding COVID-19. Both the resort and Inversion are monitoring the pandemic closely and will update this page with any pertinent changes prior to the Spring Summit.

Masks are optional for anyone fully vaccinated.
